THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
Under normal market circumstances, this fund's aim is fulfilled by actively managing a portfolio that primarily establishes short positions in futures contracts. These particular contracts, known as VIX Futures Contracts, are linked to the CBOE Volatility Index and possess monthly expiration dates. The investment advisor's usual strategy involves taking short positions on the two VIX Futures Contracts that are closest to their expiration. This includes a daily "roll" where the contract due to expire soonest is swapped for the contract expiring in the subsequent month. It is important to note that this fund is classified as non-diversified.
