THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
Vidler Water Resources, Inc., along with its various operating units, is dedicated to providing vital potable water supplies throughout the southwestern United States. Its core business involves the acquisition and divestiture of water rights and storage credits within the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico. These essential water assets are marketed to a diverse clientele, including real estate developers, facilities in the alternative energy sector, various commercial and industrial enterprises, as well as water utilities, municipal governments, and other public sector entities. Similarly, the company provides its stored water to state agencies, commercial development firms, and municipalities, supporting both large-scale projects and general community needs. Beyond water-specific transactions, Vidler also engages in the leasing and sale of broader water-related assets and land holdings. Tracing its origins back to an incorporation in 1981, the company was initially known as PICO Holdings, Inc. before adopting its current name, Vidler Water Resources, Inc., in March 2021. Headquartered in Carson City, Nevada, Vidler Water Resources, Inc. has operated as a subsidiary of D.R. Horton, Inc. since May 24, 2022.
