This investment vehicle is structured to ensure that its per-share Net Asset Value (NAV) daily percentage change reflects three times the inverse daily percentage change of a particular short-term futures contract for light, sweet crude oil, after deducting the fund's operating expenses. The managing entity, USCF, strives to keep the total theoretical value of the fund's short positions in this Benchmark Oil Futures Contract at roughly 300% of the fund's NAV at the end of each trading day. This Benchmark Oil Futures Contract specifically refers to the light, sweet crude oil futures agreement traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) under the ticker symbol "CL."
