Techpoint, Inc. operates as a fabless semiconductor enterprise, dedicated to the engineering, promotion, and distribution of mixed-signal integrated circuits. These specialized components are utilized in a variety of video applications, primarily addressing the needs of the security surveillance and automotive industries. The company's innovative integrated circuits enable high-definition (HD) video content to be transmitted reliably over significant cable lengths, facilitating its eventual display, storage, or processing. Among Techpoint's offerings are HD-TVI transmitters and receivers, HD-SDI receivers, advanced processors for automotive cameras, and HD LCD display controllers. The company targets video systems that receive and process HD analog video signals, including those found in surveillance cameras, security digital video recorders, and vehicle-mounted cameras. Techpoint, Inc. distributes its products via a network of distributors and original design manufacturers (ODMs) across major markets such as China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and other international territories.
