Orthometrix provides sales and servicing for its range of products, which fall into categories such as bone and muscle diagnostics, research equipment, rehabilitation/physical therapy tools, sports and fitness gear, and home-use products. They serve a broad client base across the healthcare, veterinary, and sports & fitness sectors, both domestically in the United States and internationally. The company was previously known as Norland Medical Systems, Inc. before officially changing its name to Orthometrix, Inc. in April 2002.
