THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
NTPC Limited is an Indian enterprise primarily engaged in the large-scale production and distribution of electricity, supplying power mainly to state-owned utilities across India. Its business operations are categorized into two main segments: "Generation of Energy" and a broader "Other" category. The company employs a diverse range of energy sources for power generation, encompassing conventional options such as coal, gas, and liquid fuels, as well as renewable and cleaner alternatives like hydro, solar, nuclear, wind, and various other thermal technologies.
