THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
Established in Xinyang, People's Republic of China, in 2003, New Oriental Energy & Chemical Corp. (NOEC) specializes in the production and distribution of a diverse range of fertilizers and chemical compounds throughout the region. The company's offerings include urea and various coal-derived chemicals, such as ammonium bicarbonate and liquid ammonia, which are vital components for nitrogenous fertilizers and serve as foundational raw materials in chemical manufacturing. NOEC also supplies methanol, a versatile substance integral to the production of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, dyes, plastics, synthetic proteins, fibers, and formaldehydes, and used as a constituent in novel fuel types. Additionally, the company provides dimethyl ether (DME), which has numerous applications: it enhances liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and acts as an alternative, non-industrial fuel for both residential and automotive sectors; it functions as a refrigerant in cooling systems; and it serves as a critical chemical feedstock for creating products like acetic acid, acetate, and hydrocyanic acid. DME is further utilized in manufacturing pesticides, cosmetics, and various daily-use chemical products, including detergents and hair gels. New Oriental Energy & Chemical Corp. primarily caters to the chemical, pharmaceutical, light industry, and textile sectors, distributing its products predominantly via regional partners.
