THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
Established in 1975 and headquartered in Singapore, New Toyo International Holdings Ltd functions as an investment holding company with a primary focus on the production and distribution of specialized packaging materials. Its market reach spans Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Dubai. The company's diverse operations are organized into four key divisions: Specialty Papers, Printed Cartons and Labels, Trading, and Food and Beverages. Under its Specialty Papers segment, New Toyo manufactures a variety of products such as laminated aluminium foil paper, coated paper, and laminated metallized polyethylene terephthalate board, along with paper core and cone items. These materials are crucial for packaging in numerous sectors, including food and beverages, wine and spirits, tissue boxes, cosmetics, tobacco (like cigarette boxes), textiles, and general paper applications. The Printed Cartons and Labels division offers gravure and offset printed solutions, as well as lithography/offset services, predominantly for tobacco packaging (including cigarette packs) and other fast-moving consumer goods. This segment also produces recycled corrugated cartons and sheets, widely used for general packaging across industries such as tobacco, food and beverage, electronics, electrical appliances, and furniture. In addition to its core manufacturing, New Toyo is involved in the trading of raw materials, paper products, equipment, and tissue-related goods. Furthermore, the company manages and operates restaurants, contributing to its diversified business portfolio.
