The company's air purification technologies include wet and dry scrubbers, wet electrostatic precipitators, and venturi absorbers. Beyond air quality management, MPM Technologies pioneers the Skygas waste-to-energy process, which converts various solid and semi-solid waste materials into a clean-burning, medium-BTU gas. This gas can be utilized for generating steam for electricity production or as a feedstock for chemical synthesis. Skygas technology is specifically designed for the gasification and disposal of carbon-rich wastes such as municipal solid waste, municipal sewage sludge, pulp and paper mill sludge, auto shredder residue, medical waste, and used tires. The company maintains a strategic partnership with Foton Technologies, LLC, collaborating on projects to produce power, chemicals, and liquid fuels using the syngas derived from Skygas gasification. Established in 1983, the company was initially known as Montana Precision Mining, Ltd. before rebranding as MPM Technologies, Inc. in August 1995. Headquartered in Spokane Valley, Washington, MPM Technologies, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Carbon Cycle Investments, LLC.
