THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
The iShares Gold Strategy ETF (IAUF) aims to provide investment exposure to gold. It accomplishes this by allocating its portfolio across a combination of assets, primarily including exchange-traded gold futures contracts. Additionally, the fund invests in various exchange-traded products (ETPs) that are either directly supported by physical gold holdings or structured to mimic gold's performance. It also utilizes other derivative instruments, which may be traded on exchanges or over-the-counter (OTC), designed to correlate with the investment returns of physical gold, with their value determined by their notional amount. Examples of such ETPs could include the iShares Gold Trust. Investors should be aware that this fund operates on a non-diversified basis.
