THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
The First Trust Intermediate Duration Preferred & Income Fund (FPF) functions as a closed-end mutual fund, primarily managed by First Trust Advisors L.P., with Stonebridge Advisors, LLC also contributing to its management. This fund strategically allocates capital within the fixed-income markets. A notable aspect of its investment approach is the inclusion of below-investment-grade instruments, commonly known as high-yield or "junk" securities. Established on May 23, 2013, the FPF is legally domiciled within the United States.
