The AdvisorShares Dorsey Wright Micro-Cap ETF (DWMC) operates as an actively managed exchange-traded fund, aiming to fulfill its investment goals primarily through capital allocation to U.S.-listed equity instruments. This includes holdings in ordinary and preference shares, alongside American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). ADRs themselves are financial vehicles traded domestically that signify ownership in the shares of foreign publicly listed corporations. A fundamental guideline for the fund specifies that, under standard operating conditions, a minimum of 80% of its total net assets (plus any borrowed funds utilized for investment purposes) will be dedicated to micro-capitalization securities.
