THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
Decklar Resources Inc. operates as an independent international company primarily focused on oil and gas activities across Nigeria and Canada. In addition to its hydrocarbon pursuits, the firm also explores for base metal deposits, including copper, lead, and zinc. A core strategic objective for Decklar is the appraisal and development of resources within the West African region. The company holds interests in several key oil fields situated onshore in Nigeria's Eastern Niger Delta. These include the Oza Oil Field, a 20-square-kilometer area in the northern part of Oil Mining Lease (OML) 11; the Asaramatoru Field, located in the southern swamp section of OML 11; and the Emohua Oil Field, situated in the southeastern portion of OML 22. Furthermore, Decklar possesses an option to acquire a 75% stake in the Holt property, a 3,687-hectare site positioned east of Duncan, British Columbia. The company also provides funding and technical advisory services to other exploration and development ventures. Established in 2004, the company was formerly known as Asian Mineral Resources Limited before changing its name to Decklar Resources Inc. in September 2020. It is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
