The Amundi EURO STOXX 50 Daily (-1x) Inverse UCITS ETF Acc aims to provide inverse exposure to the European equity market, specifically the EURO STOXX 50, with daily adjustments to its positioning. It achieves this by precisely replicating the performance, whether positive or negative, of its benchmark, the EURO STOXX 50 Daily Short strategy index (which incorporates reinvested gross dividends and is denominated in EUR). This benchmark index itself employs a short-selling strategy, delivering a daily -1x leveraged inverse return relative to its underlying index, the EURO STOXX 50 Total Return index (also with reinvested gross dividends), and undergoes daily rebalancing. A primary goal of the fund is to minimize any difference in performance (tracking error) between its own returns and those of the benchmark index.
