THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
The Invesco CoinShares Global Blockchain UCITS ETF Acc aims to mirror the net total return of its benchmark, the CoinShares Blockchain Global Equity Index (referred to as the "Reference Index"), after accounting for fees. This fund offers investors access to a global portfolio of companies, situated in both developed and emerging markets, that are either actively participating in or are poised to benefit from the expanding blockchain ecosystem. The Reference Index itself is constructed to evolve in tandem with advancements in blockchain technology, with the weighting of its constituents adhering to specific liquidity and UCITS regulatory requirements. Solactive AG calculates and distributes this Reference Index on behalf of CoinShares, an investment firm specializing in digital assets. To achieve its goal, the fund employs a physical replication strategy, endeavoring to acquire and hold, where feasible, all the securities that comprise the Reference Index in their exact proportional weightings. The fund's holdings are rebalanced quarterly to reflect any adjustments made to the Reference Index. Investors should be aware that this ETF was previously known as the Invesco Elwood Global Blockchain UCITS ETF before October 29, 2021. Similarly, the index's name changed from Elwood Blockchain Global Equity Index to CoinShares Blockchain Global Equity Index on October 15, 2021. These name changes, however, did not impact the fund's investment objective or any other fundamental characteristic. Additional details about the index can be found on CoinShares.com. This ETF is managed passively; therefore, an investment represents the acquisition of units in an index-tracking fund, rather than direct ownership of the underlying assets.
