THE COMPANY BEHIND THE TICKER
Axis Technologies Group, Inc. (AXTG), operating through its subsidiary, Axis Technologies, Inc., is engaged in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of daylight harvesting fluorescent lighting ballasts. These products are supplied to the commercial lighting sector across North America. A core offering is their patented T8 Axis Daylight Harvesting Dimming Ballast, which is specifically engineered to achieve significant reductions in lighting energy consumption. The company is also in the process of developing new product lines, including dimming and daylight harvesting ballasts tailored for 54-watt lamps. Furthermore, they are innovating addressable and load-shedding ballasts designed to enable communication between individual lighting fixtures and comprehensive building management systems. AXTG primarily markets its solutions to a wide array of commercial entities that utilize fluorescent lighting, such as corporate offices, retail and wholesale premises, medical facilities, educational institutions, and government buildings. The company was established in 1997 and is based in Los Angeles, California. It was originally known as Axis Technologies, Inc., before rebranding to Axis Technologies Group, Inc. in September 2006.
